Pricing Comparisons
Most Web conferencing services' pricing options fall into three
categories:
- Pay-per-use: similar to the teleconference pricing,
which meters all the attendee minutes in a Web conference. Pricing
usually starts at 30 cents per attendee minute, not including
audio calls.
- Concurrent-user license: usually referred to as
"seat" pricing, which limits how many concurrent attendees
(seats) can be in all the meetings combined. Pricing for major vendors starts at $375 per month for 5 seats.
The seats can be shared by a pool of users in an organization.
- Named-user license: similar to to software licensing
pricing, which allows only the named-user to host a meeting.
There is a limit of how many attendees can be in a meeting.
Pricing usually starts at $50 per named user per month with a 10-attendee limit.
