Set Up a Web Site for Persony Meetings1. Set Up a Web SitePlease make sure your Web site meets the System Requirements. Your Web site needs to have PHP 4 or above and the PHP configurations need to match the requirements. If you are running Windows Server, please see instructions about setting up IIS for Persony meetings. If you are an iPowerWeb Web hosting user, please see instructions here. For all the other Web servers, please make sure your setup allows both the FTP user and PHP scripts to write to the directory on the Web server you choose to host Persony meetings. 2. Create a New Web Site ProfilePlease create a new profile in VShow by selecting Options/Meeting Web Site and click the "New profile" button.
1. Create a directory on your Web site. The directory should be under your Web site's home directory. If you are using Apache Web server, set the directory's permissions to 755 (Read/Write by owner and group.) If you are using Windows Server (IIS), please follow the instructions here to set up the permissions. 2. URL of the meeting directory: If you enter this URL in a Web browser, it should link to the above directory. You can verify if the URL is correct by uploading a file to the above directory and type the URL plus the file name in a Web browser. 3. FTP account: Enter your ftp server name or address, login name, and password. The FTP account should allow you to upload files to the meeting directory. 4. Meeting directory path: the folder path on your FTP server for the meeting directory. The directory should match the URL you entered in Step 2. Click Browse to choose the directory. 5. Settings: you should use the default settings unless they don't work. For more information, see VShow documentation. Click Finish and then "Verify Login" to check if your account is correct. 3. Create a New Meeting Room (for VShow and VShow Pro)If you are using VShow or VShow Professional, select "New Meeting Room" in the File menu to create a meeting room on your Web server. Please run "Meeting Room Check" after you have created a meeting room to check your Internet connection speeds. You need to have at least 100kbps of upload speed to have good screen sharing performance. Please visit FAQ for details.
